Big news for Queensland golf fans. Swing Factory Moreton Bay has officially received Development Approval, clearing the path for construction to begin later in 2026. It’s a milestone that’s been a long time coming, and one that means the region is getting something genuinely different in the world of golf and entertainment.

This won’t be your average golf facility. When Swing Factory Moreton Bay opens its doors (we’re targeting mid-to-late 2027), it’ll bring:

  • 26 driving range bays powered by Toptracer technology
  • 18-hole mini golf course
  • Food and beverage offerings that are worth arriving hungry for
  • Function and event spaces for corporate groups, kids parties, and social occasions
  • Family-friendly entertainment built for golfers and non-golfers alike

Whether you’re working on your swing, celebrating a birthday, hosting a team day out, or just looking for something genuinely fun to do with the family, Swing Factory Moreton Bay is designed with all of that in mind.

Why Moreton Bay?

It’s one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and it deserves a venue that matches that energy. Swing Factory CEO Erich Weber said: “Moreton Bay is a rapidly growing region, and we believe this facility will provide something truly unique for the community. Our goal has always been to create venues that combine the best in golf practice, entertainment and hospitality, while remaining welcoming and accessible to everyone.”

What happens next

With approval locked in, the focus now shifts to final design work, contractor appointments, and getting the site construction-ready. Works are anticipated to begin later in 2026, ahead of an opening in mid-to-late 2027.

This venue joins Swing Factory’s growing national footprint, which already includes Terrey Hills in Sydney and Morack Public Golf in Melbourne, with additional venues in the works across Maitland, Port Kembla, Southern Sydney, and Greater Melbourne. With seven sites now secured, Swing Factory is on track to become Australia’s first nationwide network of modern golf entertainment destinations.

Stay tuned. Moreton Bay, golf and good times are coming.
