Good Friday, Good Times and a Great Long Weekend
Easter is creeping. If your group is still in the “we should do something” phase, this is your nudge.
Swing Factory has the full spread — Morack Public Golf Course, a 28-bay driving range with Toptracer, mini golf, the Club House, and Café M. Technically the Easter long weekend starts Thursday arvo… so by our math, you’ve got five days to play with. So, what kind of long weekender are you?
The Early EscapeE
The week isn’t done, but you are.
Our golf course is open dawn till dusk, which means an Afternoon or Twilight Special tee time is well within reach after work. “Anyone around after work?” becomes “let’s get a round in”. No membership, no handicap, just show up and play.
Still not ready to head home? The 28-bay range is powered by Toptracer — longest drive gets settled, play a world-famous course, and the session takes on a life of its own. Food and drinks come straight to the bay so no one disappears mid-session.
The Club House is open until 10pm on Thursdays. Roll straight in after, grab a table, and let the debrief run longer than the round. Good way to start a long weekend!

The Fairway Crew
This is the round everyone’s been quietly waiting for all week.
Morack Public Golf Course is open to everyone. With options to play 8, 10, 12, or the full 18 holes*, you can fit a round around the group’s energy levels rather than the other way around. Got a short window before dinner? Play 8. Want to make a proper afternoon of it? Go the full monty and grab a cart to cruise the fairways in style.
Pick your tees and play it how the group wants. White tees if you’re keeping it social and relaxed, Black tees if the group wants a proper challenge. Don’t have clubs? Hire sets are available, so no one has an excuse to sit it out.

If you’re planning your route, the course layout above gives you a feel for how the round flows — from opening tee to final hole. You can explore it in more detail here.
Good Friday tee times don’t hang around. So, get the booking in early!
The Rolling Inviter
You booked it for four. Somehow it’s now eight. Instead of stressing about it, just lean into it!
At Swing Factory, bigger groups don’t break the plan, they are the plan. Book a bay at the driving range, or spread out across a couple, and suddenly everyone’s got space without losing the vibe.
Group bays run on unlimited balls, from $45 for 60 minutes up to $107 for a three-hour session. Lounge bays and the MEGA bay keep bigger groups together, food and drinks come to you, and bays run until 10pm on Saturday. Toptracer keeps everyone invested whether they can golf or not.
The range covers every corner of the group, and everyone (mostly) ends up back at the Club House. Somehow you planned nothing and pulled off everything!

The Crowd Pleaser
Sunday tends to bring a bigger crowd. Partners, kids, maybe a parent or two who caught wind of the weekend plans. The more the merrier! And mini golf at Swing Factory is exactly where a mixed group hits its stride.
No skill required, no warm-up, straight into it. Within a few holes everyone’s more competitive than they expected from kids fully committed from hole one and adults pretending they’re not.
Café M is open from 7am so you fuel up with coffees, milkshakes, smashed avo, banana bread, and enough to keep the group fed without moving far. Or settle into the Club House for something more substantial, check out the menu here.
Both are steps away and both open Sunday so the hardest decision is which one first. Don’t worry, you can take the credit and we won’t tell anyone how easy it was
THE ALMOST-PRO
By Monday, social golf isn’t enough.
You’ve had enough swings over the weekend to know what’s off. The driving range is where you actually fix it. Toptracer gives you real numbers — carry distance, accuracy, shot shape — so you’re working on something specific rather than just grinding balls into the distance. The range opens at 8am Mondays, which gives you the whole morning before anyone else has plans.
You’ll stay longer than expected. The golf shop on the way out will sort the rest — gloves, balls, and probably something you’ve been eyeing for a while. The golf shop on the way out is dangerous. Consider yourself warned…

Not every long weekend needs a big plan. Sometimes it just needs someone to make the first move. Whoever that is in your group — the course is open, the bays are ready, and the Club House is waiting, so make it a good one!
